I am so excited about these velvet nails! This tutorial has been long anticipated and I am glad that you finally get a chance to see them done. Aren’t they so beautiful.

When women first hear about a velvet manicure they don’t really know what to imagine. When women first see a velvet manicure they almost surely fall in love with them but not without a few probing questions first.

What happens when velvet nails get wet? – They dry surprisingly really fast.

How long do velvet manicures last? – They usually last 2 – 3 days. Velvet nail are different than other nails because they actually can attract dirt and as a consequence they can get dirty…much like clothes.

How much do velvet manicures cost? – They can be expensive and they can be very cheap. – If you buy them from ciate, it will cost about $20 (As of 08/01/2012) for one bottle of polish and velvet flocking. – If you buy the products needed online at Amazon.com, it will cost about $2 a bottle for flocking and up to $8 for polish. – All you need is some Velvet Flocking, nail polish, and a small make up brush.

You can buy all of it online here.

Now its time for our very own Velvet Nails Video Tutorial. Enjoy
