About My Textured Animal Print Nails
When I first started seeing textured nail polishes, I was very skeptical. I didn't see the appeal of rough, scratchy nails. After seeing swatches on different nail art blogs and seeing them in stores like Ulta, I slowly started becoming more intrigued. Then, I finally bought one. I was totally on board after that! I now have three textured polishes and I can't wait to buy more.
For this look, I used Julep Jill which is a new color from their Sea Salt Finish line of textured polishes. Like others, it has a matte, textured finish. It isn't rough or scratchy at all. The color is a lovely smoke beige. I wanted to do something fun with it so I grabbed my Bundle Monster stamping plates and chose a "
cow print" design. I stamped the design in Art Club Black.
Textured polish is a lot of fun and can be a real conversation starter. If you haven't tried one yet and you want to do something a little bit different with your nails, I highly suggest it.
I think this is very cute! I had no idea it was even possible to stamp on a textured polish! thanks for posting!
Thanks!
This is okay, but you have to use a stamp, and what if you can. Find that specific stamp. I like Shari design better. Not to be rude or anything but it doesn’t really feel artistic if your using a stamp it’s like in art class you don’t wanna draw so you take a bunch of random stamps and stamp it. I’m just using Shari’s as an example, but I’ve seen many designs, by amazing artists , but I just like hers cause it’s more easier and I love being creative but how are you going to be creative with a stamp
*cant
I’m sorry that you don’t like this design. The reason I stamped instead of free handing is that stamping dries to a somewhat matte finish. If I had used brushes it would have been shiny and even a matte top coat would have changed the original finish of the textured nail polish.
