About This Manicure

When I was growing up, there weren't as many video game systems as there are now. We played the classics like the NES. One NES game that everyone knows and loves is Super Mario Brothers. So, when I chose to do a classic video game themed manicure, this is the game I chose.

My inspiration is the backdrop to the first few levels of the game. Of course I had to incorporate Mario himself and a Goomba, everyones favorite adorable villain. The colors were made by mixing polishes until I got the colors I wanted and the details were done in black and white nail art polishes. I used a lot of different tools for this including, but not limited to, dotting tools, paintbrushes, and toothpicks.

This Super Mario Brothers nail art was SO much fun to do, even though it took a really long time. Just something fun that brings back lots of memories from my childhood.
