Silver Glitter Nails
Silver Glitter Nails
Sparkly silver glitter looks good on almost everything. This is particularly true for the nails. Lately I have been on a glitter craze. I have tried a bunch of new and unique glitter nail art and am finding out that a little bit of glitter can really do a lot for the nails. Recently I have tried glitter toes, glitter nails, glitter french tips, glitter ombre nails, and glitter accent nails. So far I have loved them all and these silver glitter nails are quickly becoming one of my favorite glitter nail designs.
Why are these silver nails loved so much by me? Just look at the picture. Light shines and glimmers off of the glitter on my nails so much. To me they look like little diamonds all over my nails and that really makes me feel beautiful.
Another great thing about this design is how easy it is to do. As long as you have nail polish and a couple different types of silver glitter you are in business. Make sure you sprinkle the glitter all over the nails and gently press it into the wet polish to insure that the nails last the longest time possible.

Not at all. In fact, they were really easy to take off.

that’s it? so just with regular nail polish remover?
I love these ideas!! I was wondering how you get it to stay on while doing the dishes? Wont the water make some of it fall of!?
Jennifer,
First, I want to thank you for visiting our site. How did you hear about us?
Second, this design can be a little “sensitive”. If you do not put on a top coat, the glitter comes off easier. If you put on a top coat it will seal the glitter and it will be just like a regular polish manicure but it won’t have the same sparkle to it.
My suggestion is to try this nail art design out without a top coat and see how well it lasts for you and if you want it on for a longer time, then add a top coat.
I hope this helps Jennifer. Glad to have you here.

Andrea,
To respond to both of your comments.
1st – The glitter in the video was purchased at a local craft store. Usually craft stores will have multiple brands of glitter. You can also buy them online at Glitter @ Amazon and the beads are called Micro-Beads. They can also be found at a local craft store or buy the Micro-beads @ Amazon as well.
2nd – I would love to do a rainbow glitter. I will put it in my list of must do nail art designs. Currently I am booked doing Christmas Nail Art everyday which I am loving btw.
Thanks so much for visiting our site. How did you hear about us?

Jocelyn,
Great blog. We are in complete agreement. And just love the photos of the different silver nail art.
Have you ever tried silver holographic butterfly glitter? It’s solvent resistant and doesn’t bleed or curl.
