Powerpuff Girls Nails Tutorial

One show that I always loved, and still do, is The Powerpuff Girls. I always thought it would be fun and adorable to do a Powerpuff manicure but I never did. Until I was asked by someone to do one. Her little girl is a huge Powerpuff fan and really wanted to see Powerpuff nails. So, I went for it. My inspirations were the main characters: Bubbles, Blossom, Buttercup, and their nemesis Mojo Jojo.

Products I used

I used several colors and tools for this manicure. The main colors I used were:

1. Wet n Wild Private Viewing 2. NYC French White Tip 3. Art Club Black 4. Art Club White 5. Julep Charlie 6. Sally Hansen Blue Me Away 7. NYC High Line Green 8. Wet n Wild Candylicious 9. Wet n Wild Lavender Creme

I also made several custom colors by mixing polishes together. Over my thumb (inspired by the show's intro background) and pinky (inspired by Mojo Jojo) I used Julep Camille for some girly sparkle.

I did everything free-hand using several nail art brushes and dotting tools. It took quite a while and a lot of patience but it's well worth it for a fun, adorable manicure.
