Monarch Butterfly Nails by Erin

My Monarch Butterfly Nails

So, these are my butterfly nails, done by watching Polishpedia’s butterfly nail art tutorial. I wanted to do a sort of faded (ombre?) look to them, but that didn’t quite work out for me that day (was kind of rushing) so I stuck with orange, to make it look like a monarch.

This was pretty straight forward & easy. I think the “hardest” part was making the top of the “cut outs” look more rounded. I kind of made them look more pointed but I still like them. I also added some light glitter under the white dots to give it another dimension. I’ve gotten lots of great compliments on these, and best of all, people can tell what it’s supposed to be! Thanks, Polishpedia, for all of your tutorials!
