Minion Nails Inspired by Despicable Me

I have loved the movie Despicable Me since it came out. It's hilarious and adorable and I can't get enough of those minions. When I came across this manicure on Pinterest, I had to recreate it for when I went to see the sequel.

What I Used

I used a load of colors for this nail art, most of which I mixed together to build custom shades. The main colors I used are:

1. Julep Charlie (yellow)
2. Sally Hansen White On
3. Art Club Black

The only tool I used was a dotting tool. Everything else was free-hand and I drew the hair on my fingers with a Sharpie pen!

I wouldn't say that this was a difficult design, but it was time consuming. It takes a steady hand and patience. I do love doing detailed, themed nail art, though. It always turns out great and I get a ton of compliments!
