I know that for many it is a long and honored Christmas tradition to bake and decorate gingerbread man cookies and houses. Because of this and because I think gingerbread man cookies are yummy and cute I decided to create my very own (100% unique and original..."I haven't seen any other nail artist do gingerbread men nails like this") Gingerbread Man Christmas Nail Art. This design was very fun and pretty easy to do. I loved wearing it and hopefully you will to.
Tips For Doing Gingerbread Man Nail Art
1. Be Creative. Just like a gingerbread man, a gingerbread man nail art design can be completely original. You can put whatever color buttons you want on him. You can make him smile, frown, have an open mouth, closed mouth, big eyes, small eyes, bald, fat, skinny....
2. Choose A Color Scheme. I have said this time and time again that one of the most important aspects of nail art is the color scheme. A bad combination of colors can really ruin a great artistic design and a good combination can really improve a poor artistic design. Does that make sense? Basically pick what colors you want to use before hand. A good way to see what they look like together is to paint them onto a paper or just hold the bottles together.
3. Invision The Gingerbread Man On Your Nails. Do you want to paint all of him on your nails or just bits and pieces. For example, my Gingerbread Man Nail Design is his face and the other fingers represent his chest. I guess you could say that my guy has one face and four chests...hmmmmm? Whatever you do, make sure you decide before hand. It usually turns out better when you have a plan.
