During the Christmas holiday my husband got me a cat as a present. It wasn't a surprise because I had been dropping hints for months and they were not subtle hints. For example, one day we went to the animal shelter and I fell in love with a certain cat.
After that I kept begging and pleading for him to come to our home and be part of our family. He finally did! Since then our lives have been full of cat cuddling and snuggling. We love it...well I know I do! This fish nail art was inspired by my new cat and this months animal nail art theme.
How I Chose This Cat Nail Art Design
This design was thought of by a little hard work and a quick flash of inspiration! I first started with the idea to do some type of fish nail art design. I thought of doing a Little Nemo design or a Little Mermaid Flounder set of nails but neither struck a cord with me.
Maybe the flash of inspiration came from all the time spent with my new cat. Whatever the cause, it hit me that I needed to do a fish bone design with cat paw prints. I decided to make the paw prints start from the pinky and lead to the ring finger which would be the fish bones. After that the paw prints direction would continue until they reached the thumb as if the cat had walked to the fish, eaten it and then walked away.
I know how much cats love fish for dinner and I hope that this design strikes a cord with you. Please let me know what you think by leaving a comment below.
