About My Chevron French Manicure

I was struck with inspiration when looking through my Butter London polishes today. Trout Pout was sitting next to The Full Monty and I love melons/corals and golds together. The combination just looks so classy to me. Well, what's classier than a French manicure? Well, chevron French manicures are a fun, yet still classy, twist on your classic French!

This design is SUPER simple. I used Wet n Wild Private Viewing for the base and then free handed the chevron tips in The Full Monty and then Trout Pout using nail art brushes. Seal it with a good top coat, and done!

At first, I thought that this design was going to make my, already short, nails look stumpy. In fact, they do quite the opposite if you don't make the tips too thick. I also got quite a few compliments on this design which is always a good thing!
