About My Black Glitter Nails

One of my favorite places to shop for nail art supplies is a craft store. There are so many things available in craft stores that make amazing nail art and they are usually way cheaper than actual nail art supplies. My favorite deal? GLITTER! I'm super girly and I adore glitter. I love using loose glitter for nails.

For this manicure, I used loose black glitter. I started with two coats of Sally Hansen Blue Me Away. It's a nice bright blue cream that contrasts very nicely with the black glitter. While the polish was still wet, I dipped a dry paintbrush into the loose glitter and tapped it above my nail at the cuticle line. I then gently blew the glitter toward the tips. Then, I topped everything off with a coat of Seche Vite. Voila!

Thank you! I have been trying and trying to do a light glitter and it never works out! I did black glitter on neon a few weeks ago and it went on way to heavy! I cannot wait to try this out! 🙂
