Shellac at Sally’s Beauty Supply?
Many women have been asking us whether or not Sally Beauty Supply carries Shellac Nail Polish. It would make sense that they would right? They are one of the biggest beauty supply stores with over 4,000 stores world wide.
The fact is that Sally’s Beauty does not sell or carry Shellac. Why? Sally’s beauty sells primarily to non-licensed beauty professionals. By that we mean that Sally’s clients are women who are getting beauty products for personal use. Shellac is a professional salon product that is intended to be sold only to licensed professionals that have been trained to use the product.
Where to buy Shellac Nail Polish?
If you are a licensed professional, you can buy directly from a distributor. You will have to check locally or with CND regarding who and where. Some distributors do sell Shellac online and they don’t always require license verification. You can go to our Shellac store to buy products through online distributors.

Will Sally’s ever carry shellac?
Sally’s does sell a kit for the shellac gel. My friend bought it last month and they sell the UV lights also. We live around Houston Tx, so i’m not sure if they sell it all every Sally’s.
Stefani,
This is a common misunderstanding with the Brand Shellac. Shellac is a brand and it does not refer to all the types of hybrid nail polishes that use UV lamps for curing.
Sally”s does sell a hybrid nail polish but it is called Gelish from Nail Harmony, whereas Shellac is from CND. The Gelish is called Gelish Basix Kit and it sells for about $45. They also sell a UV light. The two products are similar but Shellac is the very first hybrid polish and Gelish came out afterwards.
