New* Mariah Carey OPI Liquid Sand Polish Collection
OPI is launching a new polish collection. What is it called? The Mariah Carey Collection! Mariah’s nail polish collection with OPI will be available in January 2013 and this collection is nothing ordinary. 2012 has been a big year for textured nails and it isn’t about to stop. The OPI Mariah Carey Polish Collection will launch with 8 limited edition shades. The first look photo below is of the OPI liquid sand colors. The photo was provided by OPI on their facebook page. OPI Liquid Sand is brand new to the world!
A Little Bit About Liquid Sand
This new nail polish has women excited and many itching to get their hands on it. It is a little different than other glitter polishes.
The liquid sand polish goes on like normal but it doesn’t have any shine to it. Why? OPI designed these unique textured polishes to have a matte finish and have instructed that a top coat is not to be used. When applying a top coat to textured nails it often removes the desired textured look, adds a shine (which may or may not be wanted) and can even remove the color of the textured product (like with caviar nails).

I have the dark grey and it is beautiful. I plan on getting two more colors (blue is not my favorite). OPI picked a winner this time.
