    Wanda,

On this exact site we do not have any salons listed in Canada. You may have found the salon listed on CND.com.

CND is currently re-registering all salons. They are double checking with each salon to make sure they are qualified and trained.

Thank you. It’s interesting that the place I went to is on your list of trained nail technicians.

    Wanda,

Your story sounds like your nail technician did something wrong. It is hard to tell what exactly but shellac lasts two weeks. On this site we are working on listing nail technicians that are trained. We are have not yet listed nail techs in canada.

However, CND is working on re-listing trained nail techs in canada. You can view their listing at CND.com.

    We hope this helps.

Shellac BARELY lasted 6 days, my index finger is completely gone! Chipped from the bottom and little ridges appear on my nails. At first they looked excellent, but as time progressed they kept peeling off, I am super dissapointed.

I was wondering whether you have a list of trained Shellac nail technicians in Canada.

My nails were done with shellac a few weeks ago and within 24 hours they started to bubble and peel. I found your site and read that the polish is to be stored in a cool, dark place. The salon I went to displays your polish along with their regular polishes. When I went back to complain, I was told that Shellac is hit or miss by one person and then the another person at the salon gave me the excuse that my nail beds must be oily or my nails simply don’t like shellac.

When I mentioned that the polish shouldn’t be displayed in full light she said that it didn’t matter and when I showed her your company’s suggestion of how to store the polish she disregarded it.

Also, they didn’t use your polish remover, instead they put polish remover on a cotton pad and wrapped my nails with foil. It gave me the impression that they weren’t fully trained with your product. They did reapply with a new polish which just came in and so far my nails look great, but I’d hate to go to another salon and go through the process of doing my nails and having them peel again because they aren’t taking proper care of the product.

    Thanks for your help.

I am a 61 year old grandmother of 4. I have had so many problems with my nails in the last few years. Flaking, chipping, breaking etc. I just had my second go with Shellac. The first was an opal sheer color a month ago…loved it. My second application was yesterday with a more daring raspberry color for fall. So many co-workers noticed today at the office. I made some converts for you today, I’m sure. Once you Shellac…you never go back!!!!!

I had the shellac done for the first time last week. UGH! 4 nails are already chipped. I will go back to my regular Pink and White and not even bother with this product. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I live in Wisconsin. I wear the shellac and I love it. I have a suggection to you. I think you should make shellac nail polish that is NFL colors, College colors, and Baseball team colors. In Wisconsin we support our teams alot. Plus can you make a royal blue shellac color.

I started using the product about 6 months ago. At first, my nails stayed chip-free for almost 3 weeks. My nails when the shellac was removed were in terrific shape. Now, the shellac barely lasts for a week and a half. The polish seems to develop bubbles and lifts off in sheets. In addition, my nails are soft and flake at the top. What is ging on??

I just got “shellac-ed” for the first time today! =) I’m very happy with the result. I told my co-worker I’m dragging her to get it done too if the results are as impressive as everyone says they are.

Since adding shellac to my treatment menu 5 months ago It has become my most popular treatment. The colours are great and the results last for ages. And the best bit is when the treatment is finished the polish is completeley dry so theres no more smudging the minute you leave the salon. And after having shellac on your toes you can put your shoes straight on. Once my clients have shellac they dont go back to normal polish

I love the look of a french manicure. I had my (Shellac) nails done last Thursday (today is Tuesday) and the white tips of at least 3 of my nails is already wearing away. I am disappointed because I had heard great things about Shellac nails.

I used Shellac on myself and a couple of co-workers. I even used Zillionaire on a client last week. I used Shellac on my co-worker and tomorrow will be week one of no chipping. I am loving this product !!

I got a shellac manicure about a week ago and it hasn’t chipped and they look like I just got them done yesterday. They’re just as glossy as they were 30 seconds after I got them done. I’m definitely going to keep getting Shellac.

Being in the industry for 2 decades, I have never seen such a phenom since the discovery of gel-I can tell you this, every client Celebrity-to lawyer, doctor, housewife, doesn’t matter-they are amazed at how fast their own nails are growing with CND Shellac! It truly works, and I will predict you will see less and less requests for a full set of Gel or acrylic nails because there no longer is a need for it-basic reason why majority of women wore full sets was to keep polish on-now you can with a manicure and Shellac-a variety of colors to choose from-and you can even cultivate a new color by layering two colors to make ONE example: take shellac’s Black pool 1 coat and 1 coat of negligee-now you have sapphire blue! Its gorgeous and stays on 14 days no chipping, peeling-easy removal! Look for six gorgeous colors from CND shellac collection for Fall! Asphalt (gray), Purple, Purple (indigo irridescent) hotschke totschke (teal) moonlight and roses (shimmering pink) a soft white for french and zillionaire (glitter) they are gorgeous and this product is only going to improve-hypo-allergenic, no toulene, DBP, or formaldehyde-safe removal (a trick to pass on) when removing shellac, apply 3 drops of solar oil onto the pad then saturate pad with acetone-wrap nail for ten min. The Oil protects the nailplate from dehydrating from the acetone. I’ve been working at Canyon Ranch Spa in Las Vegas for 12 years and we work on everybody-everybody wants it and cannot believe how easy it is!

I just got my shellac put on about 5 days ago and so far so good. I love the color I have, and I have yet to see any chips. Love it

I had a bad reaction to acrylics. First time and had to have them removed, after wearing them for 7 months. I had a shellac french manicure done with the Shellac Polish. I hope it does well for me.

My Solon I go to, the girls are awesome and so helpful. They took my problem with great concern. Told me about the product. I think I will be staying with Shellac. Couldn’t have come at a more opportune time…especially after having my acrylic nails removed. Thanks for your info also. ~Patti Jones

There are so many options with Shellac. Not only can you create numerous choices of colors, by layering, but art is also possible and a lot of fun! My clients are loving and enjoying all that is Shellac!! And Shellac pedicures have opened up a major avenue for clients going on vacation and for winter so clients don’t have to wear flip flops when it’s cold or rainy outside!!! Like with all their products, CND, has created another FABULOUS product!!! Thank you CND!
