About My Mixed Texture Nails

I wanted to use textured polish but I can't just paint my nails a solid color. It's too boring for me. So I thought it would be fun to pair OPI Jinx, a Liquid Sand, with a normal polish. I played with the combination possibilities for a while. Ultimately, because of the super sparkliness (That's a word now, ha ha.) of Jinx, I went with a nice cream; Sally Hansen Snappy Sorbet.

This design was super easy! I painted my nails with Snappy Sorbet and used Seche Vite to give it a super shiny finish. Once that was COMPLETELY dry, I taped half of my nail and painted the other half with Jinx. Then I removed the tape. Done! You don't put any type of top coat on the textured polishes because they are a matte finish. It's a very interesting change from smooth polishes and it's a lot of fun.

Isn't Jinx BEAUTIFUL? It's from OPI's Bond Girls line of Liquid Sand polishes.
