Manger Scene Christmas Nail Art

Manger Scene Christmas Nail Art

Up to this point most of my Christmas nail art designs have been focused on modern symbols or figures relating to Christmas but this entire Christmas season I have been thinking about creating a really special design. A design that focuses on the real meaning of Christmas; a design that focuses on Jesus Christ's birth.

I didn't want it to be too showy or fancy because His birth was humble. I wanted it to be simple so that it didn't distract from Him being born.

With these and a few other ideals in mind I finally came up with this humble Manger Scene Christmas Nail Art. I really hope that you like it and that it helps you remember who we are celebrating this Christmas.

What Christmas Means To Me

As I share what Christmas truly means to me I want to invite you to think about what Christmas means to you.

For me, Christmas is about family and more particularly the loving relationships between a father and his children. What do I mean? Let me first explain to you what I mean by sharing a scripture.

John 3: 16 -

16. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

My Heavenly Father loves me. How do I know? Because He sent His Son here so that we could live with Him again. We all stumble and make mistakes. We need help in order to return, after this life, to live with our Heavenly Father again. That help is Jesus Christ. Without Him we can't live with God again.

So to me, Christmas is about family. It is about a loving Heavenly Father who loves not just the perfect child but all of the children. I know that my Heavenly Father and your Heavenly Father knows when to let us have sorrow and pain, He knows when to hug us and cry with us, and He knows when to help us be joyful.

I hope you are enjoying this Christmas season. Please pass along these Manger Scene Nails so that others can be reminded of His birth.

Love,

I am so excited to try this!!! I don’t quite have as steady hand as you do, but I will practice & do it til I get it right, this is such a beautiful, humble design, I really wanted a way to honor Jesus on my nails, since I do other things on my nails, thank you for this! I love it….b.t.w..I would still really love to see how you would do the star….I keep globbing it all up on accident 🙁

      Erin,

I never did get to the star. 🙁 I am currently on family time right now but a quick tip for the star. An easy way to do it would be to use a dotting tool to make the first dot for the star. Then take a tooth pick and from the middle of the dot spread lines outward. Do this until it looks like a star. Does that make sense?

Oh, yes, I hope you have a wonderful family time! MERRY CHRISTMAS! I did get it down, as you saw 🙂 those are good directions & a great idea, I didn’t think of doing that for the star…I just used a smaller brush for the star, and added some silver to the middle, I had been using a slightly bigger brush & thicker polish, so I thinned some, and used a smaller brush, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THESE!!!
